Agreed terms govern commissioned work
Any commissioned service requires an agreed scope identifying the relevant questions, entities or property, location, review period, access, sources, deliverables, responsibilities, fees and proposed schedule. Changes or additional work should be agreed before they are undertaken. Assignment-specific written terms take priority for that engagement, subject to applicable law.
Published service descriptions illustrate capabilities. They do not mean that every record, inspection, specialist test or geographic location is automatically included in every assignment.

Information and authority
Provide accurate contact and assignment details and only documents or personal information you have the right or authority to share. Necessary permissions for site access, records and third-party participation must be addressed in the agreed scope. We may decline or narrow work where appropriate authority, access or lawful sources are unavailable.
Do not use this website to upload malicious material, seek unauthorised access to confidential records, impersonate another person or interfere with the site or its users.

Meaning and limitations of findings
Investigative and verification findings reflect the sources, material, access and review date stated in the report. A missing record is a limitation, not proof that an issue does not exist. Field observations, indicative measurements, third-party statements and documentary facts must be distinguished.
Reports do not guarantee title, statutory approval, supplier performance, cargo delivery, investment returns, recovery of funds or a litigation outcome. Legal representation, legal opinions, structural certification, laboratory testing, valuation and other specialist services are included only if separately and expressly agreed with the appropriately qualified professionals.

Terms for fees, timing and cancellation
Fees and expected schedules are confirmed for the defined assignment. Record availability, travel, site permissions and third-party responses may affect delivery, and material changes should be communicated. Pricing and schedules are assignment-specific and must be confirmed in the engagement before work begins.
Payment milestones, taxes, cancellation, refunds and treatment of work already undertaken must be set out in the applicable engagement terms. An initial enquiry does not create an obligation to purchase.

Terms for reports and website materials
Reports are prepared for the client, purpose and scope identified in the engagement. Permission and any conditions for sharing or third-party reliance should be addressed in that engagement. A report should be read in full with its supporting context, review date and limitations.
Website text, designs and commissioned imagery may not be misrepresented as your own work or used to imply endorsement. Images and any sample report clearly labelled illustrative do not depict a verified client case or prove completed assignments.
